What can my child expect during their first session?

I focus entirely on comfort. For children, this often involves play, drawing, or games. For teens, it's a low-pressure conversation to get to know one another. The goal is to create a space where they feel heard and safe.

What are the pricing and insurance options?

The fee for my clinical services is $100 per session. While I am actively working on paneling with insurance partners, I currently operate as an out-of-network provider. I am happy to offer documentation (a superbill) for your potential reimbursement.

How long does the therapy process last?

Every child's path is unique. Some families see improvement in a few months, while others prefer long-term support. We will regularly review goals together to ensure progress.

Common Questions

We understand that starting therapy can bring up many questions. Here are a few things that might help you and your family feel more at ease as you begin this journey.

Is therapy confidential for children and teens?

Trust is the foundation of healing. While I maintain a private space for your child to share, I work closely with parents to provide updates on progress and will always communicate any safety concerns immediately.

When are sessions typically available?

I understand the juggle of school and activities. I offer a variety of time slots, including early morning to late afternoon, to minimize disruption to your family's busy routine.

How should I talk to my child about starting?

Explain it simply by saying they will meet someone who helps with big feelings and hard topics. Focus on the supportive and helpful nature of therapy to keep them feeling relaxed and ready to start.
